Black Swan is an incredible film. And incredible films get incredible posters. Last Friday FilmShaft attended the gala screening of Darren Aronofsky’s latest masterpiece at the London Film Festival. If you haven’t seen the German Expressionist style posters for this movie, check them out below.
But wait! There’s more. Black Swan’s UK Facebook page is offering some lucky people to win them all for themselves. If you do win these beautiful posters you must frame them – they’re that good! http://www.facebook.com/blackswan.
We really can’t stress enough how amazing Aronofsky’s psycho-thriller (qu’est ce que c’est?) is. Read our BFI London Film Festival review right Black Swan Review if you don’t believe us. After the screening, Aronofsky, Mila Kunis and Vincent Cassel chatted to the audience for a while and the director told us he saw parallels between this elegant yet bonkers ballerina breakdown flick and The Wrestler. Interesting stuff.
Synopsis:
A psychological thriller set in the world of New York City ballet, BLACK SWAN stars Natalie Portman as Nina, a featured dancer who finds herself locked in a web of competitive intrigue with a new rival at the company (Mila Kunis). A Fox Searchlight Pictures release by visionary director Darren Aronofsky (THE WRESTLER), BLACK SWAN takes a thrilling and at times terrifying journey through the psyche of a young ballerina whose starring role as the duplicitous swan queen turns out to be a part for which she becomes frighteningly perfect.
