The Other Guys – International Trailer

Mark Wahlberg teams up with Will Ferrell and director Adam McKay for an action comedy spectacular about two useless but determined cops called The Other Guys. Due to the pair’s constant bungling and haphazard approach to arse-kicking you’d expect this to be called Try Hard.

The international trailer has been released so check it out along with a selection of production stills. Co-starring is Samuel L. Jackson, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Michael Keaton, Steve Coogan and Eva Mendes.

New Still From Sherlock Holmes 2

Ahh, Sherlock Holmes. It was Guy Ritchie’s finest project in a long while and one of my favorite movies of 2009. The sequel, currently titled Sherlock Holmes 2, is shooting at present in England. While on location at Didcot Railway Center which houses a large collection Steam Engines, the LA Times managed to catch up with the production and also landed a new film still from the movie too!

Speaking to leading actors, Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law, they were given a taste of what they could expect from the sequel, due to hit cinemas this December:

***
“I think one of the most exciting things in this one is the fear level,” says Law. “We get pretty kicked around. Just look at the state of us.”

“Unlike last time, where Holmes kept getting Watson into trouble,” adds actor Downey, “this time Watson is getting Holmes out of trouble, and they’re both in deeper trouble than I think the audience could have imagined we could go…. All manner of nastiness has just occurred.”
***

The trouble, of course, in this sequel stems from the mega-mind of one Professor James Moriarty, the literary arch-nemesis of Holmes who appears as a shadowy figure in the original film. With plot details still firmly under wraps little is known about what’s in store other than the fact that “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” actress, Noomi Rapace will be joining the pair as Gypsy woman, Sim.

For now, we have this new film still. Take a look below:

Win An Owltastic Legend Of The Guardians Goodie Bag!

We are hugely excited about the amazing family 3D film LEGEND OF THE GUARDIANS: THE OWLS OF GA’HOOLE coming to our cinemas this Friday, 22nd October.

The film follows Soren, a young owl enthralled by his father’s epic stories of the Guardians of Ga’ Hoole, a mythic band of winged warriors who had fought a great battle to save all of owlkind from the evil Pure Ones.

While Soren dreams of someday joining his heroes, his older brother, Kludd, scoffs at the notion, and yearns to hunt, fly and steal his father’s favor from his younger sibling. But Kludd’s jealousy has terrible consequences—causing both owlets to fall from their treetop home and right into the talons of the Pure Ones. It is up to Soren to make a daring escape with the help of other brave young owls. Together they soar across the sea and through the mist to find the Great Tree, home of the legendary Guardians—Soren’s only hope of defeating the Pure Ones and saving the owl kingdoms.
